Seborrheic Keratoses / Skin Tag Removal
Seborrheic keratoses are waxy, stuck-on growths that increase with age, and skin tags are soft outgrowths that form where skin rubs against skin. Both are benign, and both are commonly removed when they catch on clothing, become irritated, or are cosmetically bothersome.
Removal is quick and typically requires little or no anesthesia. Depending on the lesion we use cryotherapy, fine-scissor snip removal, gentle shave removal, or light electrodesiccation. Every growth is examined first to confirm it is benign.
