Lipoma Removal

Lipomas are soft, mobile, benign growths of fat that sit just beneath the skin, commonly on the trunk, shoulders, arms, and neck. They are usually painless but can enlarge over time or press uncomfortably against surrounding tissue.

Removal is a straightforward in-office procedure under local anesthesia through a small incision. Tissue is sent to pathology for confirmation, and the site is closed with sutures removed one to two weeks later.
