Seborrheic Dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis produces greasy, flaking, pink patches in oil-rich areas — the scalp, eyebrows, sides of the nose, ears, and chest. Dandruff is its mildest form.

It tends to wax and wane with stress, season, and illness. Treatment includes medicated shampoos, topical antifungals, and anti-inflammatory creams, with a plan for long-term maintenance.
