Granuloma Annulare

Granuloma annulare produces smooth, ring-shaped bumps, most commonly on the hands, feet, elbows, and ankles. The rings are usually skin-colored to reddish and are typically not itchy or painful.

The cause is not fully understood, and many cases resolve on their own over months to years. When treatment is desired, options include topical or injected steroids, phototherapy, and oral medication for widespread disease.
