Dr. Chamorro is a Board Certified Dermatologist, born and raised in Miami, Florida. She trained in New York and New Jersey and is one of the few Dermatologists in the country who also completed an Internal Medicine residency. Biography
Dr. Chamorro received her undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Neuroscience. She received her medical education at Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She initially completed her Internal Medicine residency training program at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital where she later worked in hospital medicine at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital for three years. She completed a research fellowship at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School studying the use of reflectance confocal microscopy in the evaluation of skin neoplasms and psoriasis. .Dr. Chamorro then completed her dermatology residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Chamorro has special interests in general medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.
